SENIOR YEAR WORLD TOUR PHOTO ALBUM

Westinghouse | ISEF | USA TODAY | USNCO | Harvard

Westinghouse Science Talent Search (STS)

Every top 40 class has a group portrait on the steps of the Capitol.  Ours was during a particularly cold Saturday morning.

International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF)

My official ISEF portrait.  That green suit went everywhere with me.

I had to show off my monster dunking abilities to Mr. Latham while at the "authentic" Texas dude ranch.  This was a full 10' rim.

Entertaining a question from Miss Cellaneous during the session open to the public

Who was this person?  And why did Mr. Latham take multiple pictures of us?

A Mr. Latham boardshot.  Restaurant quality.

Like you didn't already know

USA TODAY All-USA Academic Team

The picture accompanying my profile in the May 14th, 1998 issue of USA TODAY.  It was the same day Seinfeld went off the air.  Those Visor-Gogs were stylin'.

Group portrait at the old Rosslyn HQ of Gannett/USA TODAY.  You can see the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial out of the right window and the Watergate Hotel out of the left window.

United States National Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO) Study Camp

Group shot before heading into the day's lab

Another group shot in our spiffy IBM lab coats

Group shot at the closing banquet

The most exciting place on earth

At the "Garden of the Gods."  Who took this and why?

Me, Salim, and Garry.  WTF am I doing?

Who's this dork?  There were professional photographers all over lab, waiting to snap pictures during embarrassing moments

Asleep on the train ride up to the summit of Pike's Peak

Ian, Paul (?), and me in action during a laboratory practical in the Air Force Academy undergrad organic lab

Obligatory group shot by the eagle statue on the Air Force Academy campus

Rejected by Harvard

For balance, here is a scan of my rejection letter from Harvard College.  I was waitlisted in April and rejected in June.  This was a wonderful way to cap off the Spring semester.  Although I had already committed to NYU and wouldn't have accepted an offer anyway, you the stalker now have a valuable tidbit on which to blame any angst you might detect in my disposition.  For those of you hoping to attend Harvard College, I offer the advice of not volunteering and defending the following statement during your interview:

It doesn't matter where you go for undergrad.
